‘Steps’ came from a deep longing to return to Europe. I wanted to tap into a memory of family and permanence. To remember the past when things were much simpler, less stressful, and the steps were a symbolic reminder that no matter where we find ourselves we have to rise to every obstacle in our path.

Also the month of August brought another amazing surprise.  I had 2 of my fine art mosaics accepted by a juried show in Pam Goode’s Ciel Gallery in Charlotte, North Carolina.

 

Pam wrote.  “I'm thrilled to report that our juror Giulio selected both Frogs and Steps to be exhibited at Ciel! Exhibiting these works will be an honor and a pleasure”. View Exhibit

 

Again, I wish to congratulate Pam Goode, Mosaic Artist/Owner on her grand opening at Ciel Gallery on Sept 5th till the 26th.  Also congratulations to my fellow artists who are also featured in the gallery.
